Getting a "can't verify the developer" warning?
If you see a warning on first launch, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway". Open source software usually isn't signed with an Apple developer certificate, which is normal.
Clicking "Download" takes you to a source confirmation page first; the download starts after confirmation.

Install guide
macOS
- Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3, etc.): Download
vidbee-1.3.14-arm64.dmg. - Intel chips: Download
vidbee-1.3.14-x64.dmg.
After downloading, open the dmg file and drag the Vidbee icon into the Applications folder. If you see "cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer" on first launch, go to "System Settings → Privacy & Security" and click "Open Anyway", or right-click the app icon and select "Open".
Windows
- Recommended: download
vidbee-1.3.14-setup.exe, run it and follow the wizard to install. - Alternatively, use the portable version
vidbee-1.3.14-portable.exeorvidbee-1.3.14-windows-portable.zip; unzip and run directly, no installation required.
Linux (unofficial, try at your own risk)
- Download
vidbee-1.3.14.AppImage, runchmod +x vidbee-1.3.14.AppImagein the terminal, then execute it. - Or download
vidbee_1.3.14_amd64.deband install withsudo dpkg -i vidbee_1.3.14_amd64.deb.
Files such as latest.yml and blockmap are used for automatic updates and do not need to be handled manually.
